Q: Do your stones blend well with the Arizona paving and building materials so popular in the Southwest?

A: To any discerning architect, designer, or builder, who doesn't want to make their project too busy with an excess of materials, our sandstones offer the classic continuum of traditional materials where they count. So often, stone is not used in a building extensively enough giving it the feel of a cold cement stucco box with out the old world charm of heavily proportioned stone. It is because of the similarity of color, grain, and texture between the hand carved agazatized sandstone from Rajastan and the very popular Arizona Flagstone.

So many architects and landscapers lose the opportunity of using natural stone columns, fountains and cappings to match readily available inexpensive Arizona flagstone. It amazes me to see million dollar homes with factory molded grey cement columns, fountains, cappings, etc. Out natural stone is not dramatically expensive. Yet, many builders of large homes use modular cast imitations to squeeze more profit from their clients. Using real stone instead of imitations would add little to the overall cost of the project.
